Los Solitarios (The Loners) are a ballad group composing of Agustín Villegas, Daniel Lopez, Juan Luis Villegas, Miguel Angel Damian and David Miranda formed in 1963 from Tijuana (Baja California, Mexico ).

After struggling they began recording and eventually became known as "The romantic symbol of Mexico". They have been singing for more than 45 years, constantly increasing the number of followers every day reaffirms them as one of the most important groups in Latin America. (So states their unbiased website)

The Loners were a phenomenon of the 60's and 70's as they placed two songs on all radios putting them first and second in the charts.  In their 47 years they have obtained all the accolades and awards from specialized critics both nationally and internationally, as well as several gold records for high sales. 

In 2008, Agustín Villegas and Daniel Lopez, were recognized by the Society of Authors and Composers of Mexico (SACM) by enriching the Mexican music.
