The Battered Ornaments (initially known as Pete Brown & His Battered Ornaments) were a British rock band founded in 1967 by Pete Brown. They played a mixture of blues and jazz with psychedelic and avant-garde elements. Other band members were Pete Bailey (replaced Jamie Muir), Charlie Hart, Dick Heckstall-Smith, George Kahn, Roger Potter, Chris Spedding and Rob Tait.

Interesting Fact:

The Battered Ornaments became Pete Brown's Flying Tigers, who then had Eileen Woodman play keyboards

Eileen Woodman also played keyboards with Billy Connolly and Gerry Rafferty in the Humblebums, and also did a stint as Keyboard Player/Vocalist with Tinkerbells Fairydust (at that time Known as The Rush).

She was most famous for playing with "The She Trinity" which included on Bass Guitar, Pauline Moran who went on to be an actress on stage and in film and television, including playing the part of Miss Lemon in Agatha Christie's Poirot with David Suchet from 1989 to 2002, and again in 2013.
