A barque, barc, or bark is a type of sailing vessel with three or more masts having the fore- and mainmasts rigged square and only the mizzen (the aftmost mast) rigged fore-and-aft.
The Vereenigung was built in 1856 in Dordrecht and for 5 years sailed under this name. In 1861 she was sold to van Praag Bors of Surinam who renamed her Suriname. It is believed that she broke up in 1866 but this is doubted
